  5. To Whom It May Concern;

    After years of using Lake Forest Home Care, I would like to recommend their services. Lake Forest Home Care is my go to agency when I need caregivers for The Regency residents. There was even a time when we used their services to augment facility personnel.

    Among some of the reasons why I recommend their services are:

    – Feedbacks from resident clients and facility caregivers indicate that personnel of Lake Forest Home Care know what they do compared to others. They are well trained and competent;
    – In rare cases where there are issues regarding caregivers, all I need to do is discuss it with admin staff and they take care of the issue immediately;
    – In time of emergencies, they step up and provide services within hours of notification;
    – They also check the progress of assigned staff regularly;
    – Last but not least is they are on call on a 24 / 7 basis for emergencies.

  6. I just cannot thank you enough for the wonderful care Aileen and Prima provided for my mother. I have recommended you to people at The Regency and especially at Saddleback Hospice service since both deal constantly with families in need of expert hospice trained caregivers. The efficiency with which your agency runs is only matched by the caring, compassionate and tender care rendered by your caregivers. Again, many, many thanks.

  8. Dear Lake Forest Home Care,
    Thank you for the care you gave my mom for seven years. Most of your caregivers were like “mothers” to my mom, providing her with love and gentle kindness from the first day they worked with her. Grace, Marly and Daisy grew into daughters who anticipated her every need and want. We certainly could not have asked for more.

    Many thanks,

  9. I want to thank you for your wonderful caregivers who help my mom Bernice. Mary and Anne have already made a difference for mom after barely two weeks. Mary is exceptional. She has engaged with Mom and the connection is so good for her. Mary has gotten Mom to agree to eat more, go for walks in the garden and go to the living room in The Regency. Mom seems much more comfortable. Anne is very good with Mom as well. Such an improvement over our previous caregivers.

    Thank you all so much.

  14. “My health is not what I ever expected it to be. Being in the hospital is always quite upsetting and I was quite ill. I had fallen down and needed a caregiver. I was fortunate to get them from Lake Forest Home Care. Their caregivers watched my every move and tended me every moment. They provided the kind of help that made me unafraid. They rubbed my back and tucked me in. They made me feel like a queen. They alone made me recover almost back to normal with their love and care.”

  16. “Where and how do I begin to thank you for the extra special care you gave Charlie these past five months. From the very beginning, you were there for him for his every need. It was not only what you did but how you did it — thoroughly and lovingly.

    “When I needed to be with my own family, I was totally at ease knowing Charlie was in your competent care. He trusted you implicitly too. He enjoyed your questions and conversation and your pleasant and upbeat disposition. You were sensitive and so thoughtful, always making him as comfortable as possible.

    “Thank you also for keeping your calm during his many crisis situations: rapid breathing, insulin overdose, fluid retention, and more. You were strong and supportive every time. The long torturous days in the hospital were easier because of your attentiveness and mere presence.

    “Thank you your other skills/talents too – trouble shooting various problems, being flexible, foregoing your days off, your many kindness to me, your ready smile, just to name a few.

    “We are so blessed to have had you as Charlie’s caregiver! Thank you from Charlie, me and all our family. You are a part of our ever growing extended family.”

    Gratefully,

  21. “Our caregiver was carefully selected to assist our family with a combination of thoughtful caregiving activities at a difficult time. I, along with my brother Mike and his wife Debbie (a nurse), have worked with a wide range of aids supporting our mothers complex needs for several years. We were confronted with a combination of pulmonary, heart and dementia issues, all compounded by a broken hip. This was no small task and a good deal of fast learning was required.

    “Our caregiver arrived on the scene in three very complex healthcare environments where she represented our family at Saddleback Hospital, Villa Valencia Skilled Nursing Center and Aegis of Laguna Niguel Assisted Living.

    “In every case, she was a thoughtful gentle leader and protector of our mother, while respecting the professionals surrounding her. The caregivers patience and excellent manner of communicating with these various organizations and in the end, with hospice, was a model for anyone to respect. At every turn in the road, over several weeks, she was present with the ability to read Mom’s thoughts and feelings and pain until her last breath. It was amazing for all of us to witness as a family.

    “She was also sensitive to individual family members as they arrived from distant cities, making sure they were comfortable while all the time emanating a positive, caring disposition to everyone, no matter the stress level. The greatest compliment of all is when our Mom would turn to her continuously, to check signals and smile, knowing everything was going to be all right in her caregiver’s hands.

    “If there is ever a need to speak further about our caregiver’s skills, please don’t hesitate to contact myself or my brothers Michael and Craig. I would be happy to offer their contact information.”
