In many cases, having a caregiver to assist you is more cost effective than staying in a nursing facility. Most cases we handle are privately paid though some have long-term insurance policies that cover caregiver expenses. In such cases, if authorized, we assist in processing insurance claims and provide the necessary documentation to expedite claims. However, Medicare/Medi-Cal does not cover the cost of caregiver expense.
